Forest Lawn Cemetery by Holland Engineering

Forest Lawn Cemetery

Our Civil Design team provided services for the cemetery, including paving, grading, drainage, water & wastewater design, and land & site development.

Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens was established in 1960 for residents of Fort Lauderdale and the South Florida area. The 30-acre cemetery includes two chapels and is one of the few cemeteries in South Florida that has a funeral home on the property.

Our Civil Design team provided services for the cemetery, including paving, grading, drainage, water & wastewater design, and land & site development.

Trusted as a go-to partner by dozens of private and government agencies, we were called upon to provide design services for several projects at the cemetery, including mausoleums and the expansion of burial gardens.

For large design efforts such as these, our project leaders coordinated with diverse specialists to deliver designs that meet our client’s goals. This involved working closely with surveyors, architects and other engineers to properly construct new mausoleums, as well as new burial gardens.
