As a part of its “Neighborhood Renaissance” plan, the City of Sunrise’s goal was to rebuild and improve older parks that hadn’t received a major overhaul since they were built. Sunrise Athletic Complex’s renovation included the construction of a 15,000-square-foot multipurpose building with an indoor gym for basketball, volleyball and pickleball, and a community room for recreational programs. In addition, five new covered basketball courts and three new sports fields were built, along with new parking areas and pedestrian plazas.

Our Civil Engineering scope included paving, grading, drainage, water & wastewater design, and land & site development services. We collaborated closely with City officials, landscape designers, Architects, MEPs and construction teams to make the Sunrise Athletic Complex renovation vision come to life.

As leaders in Civil Engineering Design for various parks and recreation facilities throughout South Florida, our many successful projects have included: Rotary Park in Hollywood, Tropical Park in Miami-Dade County, City Park in Sunrise and Boulevard Heights Park in Hollywood.
